I agree with all your remarks and am begining to believe they are plotting against us. I bought some poisoned gel yesterday & they loved it. I thought okay, now I am going to see some results. The directions assure me the ants will take the gel BACK to their nest killing all of the workers including the big "queen" they cherish. So this morning I look at the area, no ants. This afternoon I sit down at the dining room table to relax and read the paper only to look up and see a HUGE couple of areas by the heating vent masses of blackness. Fearing the worst I call my husband who comes in and does not think its a big deal at all. What happened to the taking back to the nest promise? They are not even in the same place they were before and there are 100 % more. Getting the left over gel out I attempt to put some drops by them only to have the little buggers run so fast toward my hand I almost break my neck trying to get away. I had to turn off the furnace because I do NOT want the ants being blown all over or anywhere else. Lets hope it does not get too cold tonight here in Oregon! I am off to store to buy new poison; probably a few types to cut down on fuel costs. So preganant Texan in Italy there are pstchotic ants in Oregon too and they are freaking me out! I wish us both luck. Take care and congratulations on your "two headed baby"!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30947834.post-64986138341815693822007-12-29T08:06:00.000+01:002007-12-29T08:06:00.000+01:00Found your blog through Shelley at Really Rome. G...Found your blog through Shelley at Really Rome. Great pictures and adventures! I read somewhere that ants won't cross a line drawn with chalk. Don't know if that would help or just create a bigger mess. Good luck and keep smiling--life in Rome can be difficult but rewards us in so many other ways!SWTnoreply@blogger.com
