you look all sexy and italian in black. and that water's so blue. eh. and i'm sitting here in my tiny bookstore in gritty, grimy NYC. a guy told me the other day that the air here is so bad it's the equivalant of smoking a pack of cigarettes a day. how's the air in rome?
The air in Rome is gross too. You don't realize it when you're in it, but if you go to one of the small towns in the hills surrounding Rome (which I do three times a week for work) and look back at the city, you see a thick brown haze surrounding the city.
You DO look all sleek and sexy and Italian!! I have to agree. And that IS surprising that there is a smog haze in Rome. It seems like it should all be pure and clean...like Nora's organic food at her school...."wholesome". (Guess I'll get to decide about that soon enough, huh?) :-) Mom
Ya'll do look mighty fabulous. So does it feel like your a "resident" now or still like a long vacation? Do they celebrate Halloween or something similar, hell even Mexico's got Day of the Dead (only the dead people get treats). We are all going to be the Scooby gang. I'm Daphne, Ben is Fred, My brother-in-law Steven is Shaggy, my sister is Thelma, and my niece is scooby-doo. Nano was going to be the ghost pirate or a monster but he refused to wear his costume. Now we're going as the scooby gang and bob-the-builder. How he got to be so stubborn I'll never know. :)
